Those of you who have been following us may have noticed a long hiatus in news about the JIRA Mobile project. This has been due to our concentrating on a number of other projects, unfortunately we have limited resources and prioritisations have to made.
The good news is though, that JIRA Mobile for Android is now in public beta (available in the Android Market) and should be being promoted by the good folks down at Atlassian at Google IO. If you happen to be there please pop by, they’re great guys, and if you’re interested in JIRA Mobile on any platform leave them your business card and we’ll get back to you with news.
JIRA Mobile (Android) is now scheduled for a July/August launch, the version currently released has some well know stability an UI issues but we intend to iterate rapidly through these in time for the release.
JIRA Mobile (iPhone) née iJIRA is due for a major overhaul around the same time to handle JIRA 4 and iPhone OS 4. An iPad version is also in the works.
The main issue holding us up has been licensing infrastructure, though we should have a solution for this shortly.
