The good news is though, that JIRA Mobile for Android is now in public beta (available in the Android Market) and should be being promoted by the good folks down at Atlassian at Google IO. JIRA Mobile (Android) is now scheduled for a July/August launch, the version currently released has some well know stability an UI issues but we intend to iterate rapidly through these in time for the release.

JIRA Mobile (iPhone) née iJIRA is due for a major overhaul around the same time to handle JIRA 4 and iPhone OS 4. An iPad version is also in the works.

The main issue holding us up has been licensing infrastructure, though we should have a solution for this shortly.
